Have fun immortalizing your beloved pet in a joyful painting! Join me in my studio at Gawler East for this one off session to paint your own pet, pop art style! This is one of my most popular creative sessions because I draw up the canvas from your photo then guide you through the painting process step by step, so everyone experiences success. You’ll choose your own colours or work to one of my planned palettes. With a maximum group size of 6, every participant is guaranteed extensive 1:1 support as required. All materials, including apron, are supplied for the session and the 12×16” canvas is yours to take home.

This is an alcohol free event. You are welcome to bring small snacks if you desire though please be aware space is limited. Children aged 12yrs+ are welcome to attend with a paying adult.

The AJ ARTS CO studio is located in the front room of my home in Gawler East. We have two dogs who may shout out a greeting as you arrive. They will not be part of the session, but as this is their home too they may find a way of wriggling their way in to say hello. Participants will be working at standing benches with the option of a high stool. I have a table I can set up if there is an accessibility concern - please get in touch so I can support you. As we’re in my working studio space it is important due care is taken not to damage any art works in progress. Note that commissions in progress will be stored discretely during studio sessions so as to reduce the risk of them being photographed or revealed ahead of schedule.
